A Rainy Day

It was raining when I woke up at six-thirty to go to school.  I brush my teeth, had a shower and breakfast and put on my school uniform.  Next I took the bus to school. I used an umbrella to walk to the bus-stop as the rain had not stopped.
In fact the rain kept coming down all the way to school.  Fortunately I had the umbrella with me and I did not get wet when I got off the bus.  The rain was not very heavy and it made the air nice and cool.  It was actually very pleasant having lessons in class while the beat down outside
The morning passed quickly and soon it was time to go home.  Still the rain had not stopped.  So once again I used the umbrella to get to the bus-stop to catch the bus home. It rained the whole afternoon as well and all I could do was do my homework.  When I finished my homework I had to remain in the house as the rain prevented me from going outdoor. To pass the time I watched television`.
Evening came and the rain had not let up.  So my sister and I got out our snakes-and-ladders board game and play a few rounds.  After that she helped my mother cook dinner while I watched television again.  My father came home at about six o'clock and I had to use the umbrella again to walk to the gate and open it for him to drive his car in.
Lastly after dinner , the rain slowed down and  finally stopped. By that time, I had to do some studying and then it was time for bed. It had been a rainy day. It was pleasant while it lasted but I certainly would not want everyday to be a rainy day
