I was born in Sungai Tapis. I am still living in it. It is my home town.
Sungai Tapis is situated in the central region of Peninsular Malaysia. It is a small town with a main street passing right through it. There are some side-street coming off the main street as well.
Though it is small, Sungai Tapis has a railway station, a medium-sized stadium and an ever-growing population. There are some factories outside the town. I hear that more factories are going to be built soon. In time Sungai Tapis may become a busy industrial town.
As the factories increase in number, so do the housing estates on the out-skirt of town. Many of my neighbours work in the factories. My father too works in one of the factories.
When I grow up, I will probably leave Sungai Tapis. I do not want to breathe filled with dirt air. Also I prefer to live in a quieter place closer to the earth :)
